Worship in the Seetha Amman Temple

Sri Seetha Amman temple is one of the most unique temples in the country of Sri Lanka. Situated very close to Nuwara Eliya, It is the Hindu temple dedicated to Seetha Maa who is the daughter of Mother Earth and Lord Ram’s wife. It is said that this temple was the holy place where she was imprisoned by King Ravana approximately 5000 years ago. Thus the temple has religious significance as it is related to Ramayana.
